Meet Zac, our Account & Service Manager based in Sydney, New South Wales.
When did you start at Chemform? November 2019 – it’s almost my one year anniversary!
Where are you based? Sydney, NSW.
What made you decide to join Chemform? Working for an innovative, dynamic, Australian owned and operated manufacturer was an exciting opportunity. I had heard about Chemform’s rapid national growth and long history and I wanted to be a part of it. I’m so glad I made the plunge, the last 10 months have flown past.
Tell us what you love most about your job? Building friendships with customers and helping them achieve their goals is what I most enjoy about my role. Creating hygienic and safe workplaces has never been more important and being able to assist my customers with this is extremely satisfying and I thoroughly enjoy it.
How do you think COVID-19 has changed the industries landscape? We supply to many industries including aged care, hospitality, facilities management, food processing, industrial and much more. I speak with personnel across these industries on a daily basis and the one thing they all have in common is the realisation that buying Australian manufactured products is not only important, it’s essential. Many businesses were let down by their supply chain throughout the peaks of the COVID-19 crisis. Manufacturing our products right here in Australia allowed us to ensure continual supply of products to our customers. We have been fortunate enough to build many new partnerships as a result of our local supply and service.
How are you supporting your clients who are struggling with their business in this uncertain time? We have been working on many new resources to assist our customers navigate their way through the rapidly evolving times. We offer virtual training, hygiene audits, procedure charts and have also released many new products and dispensing solutions to assist our customers.
